Acts of the Apostles

1. Fill in the blank: When the magistrates in Philippi sent word to the jailer to release Paul  and Silas from prison, Paul replied, "They have beaten us openly, uncondemn ------------ , and have thrown us into prisons..... Let  them come themselves and get us out."

2. Multiple choice: Whose  house did Paul and  Silas visit just before leaving Philippi? (a) Jason's ; (b) Rhoda's; or (c) Lydia's.

3. Whose house was attacked by a riotous mob in Thessalonica because they thought Paul  and Silas were there? (a) Mary's;  (b) Timothy's; or (c) Jason's.

1.Romans (Acts 16:37).  For  the magistrates to throw Roman citizens into  prison without a proper trial was a tremendous breach of Roman  law and could cause difficulty for the officials if the citizen chose to press charges.

2. (c) Lydia's (Acts 16:40).

3. (c) Jason's (Acts 17:5). In Thessalonica

Good questions tonight.

Unfortunately, the dentist says I need a bridge on my upper back teeth. I have a tooth that has cracked. I am thankful it is not hurting yet.

Hope you both had a nice day.
