People

1. Multiple choice: How many people did Cornelius send to bring Peter to his house? (a) Three; (b) four; or (c) five.

2. What apostle had a vision of a sheet full of animals coming down out of heaven? (a) Peter (b) James; or (c) John.

3. Question: When Peter came to tell the good news of salvation to Cornelius, he had invited two groups of people to join him in hearing the message. What  were they?

1. (a) Three (Acts 10:7,8). Two of the three were household servants and one was "a devout soldier".

2. (a) Peter (Acts 10:9-12; 11:4-6). Peter found it hard to believe that God would accept Gentiles just as He accepted the Jews who believed in Jesus. He saw them as unclean-like the animals in the sheet.

3. Relatives and close friends (Acts 10:24).
