Prophecy--Prediction

1. Multiple choice: Ezekiel's digging through a wall and carrying his belongings through the opening in the sight of Israel was a sign to them that they were going : (a) To be robbed ; (b) into captivity; or (c) to escape into Egypt.

2. Ezekiel predicted  God's punishment for those in Israel who plastered walls with untempered mortar.
These people were: (a) The prophets who envisioned peace; (b) the leaders who led in worshiping the sun; or (c) the prophetesses who sewed magic charms.

3. By what did Ezekiel say God would "seize the house of Israel---because they are all estranged from Me by their idols. (a) by their hair ; (b) by their ears; or (c) by their heart.

1. (b) Into captivity (Ezk. 12:4,5 )

2. (a) The prophets who envisioned peace (Ezek. 13:15,16 ). The wall was a figure for the support these prophets gave the nation. It was an inadequate support, a shaky wall that looked good because of its plaster.

3. (c) By their heart (Ezek. 14:5 ).

Thanks for sharing, Patsy, I only missed one today.
I find this blog a joy to visit, and am challenged to read the Bible more.
