Familiar Phrases

1. Sentence completion: God instructed Ezekiel that each man is answerable for himself: "Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins....."

2. God  said to Ezekiel concerning Jerusalem, "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found..."

3. Fill in the blanks: Ezekiel wrote a parable of two sisters who "committed harlotry in Egypt... Their names:  --------  the elder and  ------ her sister."



1. "Shall die" (Ezek. 18:4).
 
 
2. "No one" (Ezek. 22:30).
 
 
3. "Oholah...Oholibah" (Ezek. 23:3,4).  "Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem is Oholibah," the capitals of the northern and southern kingdoms. The story is about the harlotry of both sisters and about the greater wickedness of the second sister who learned nothing from the fall of the first one.
