Poetry---Memory

1. Sentence completion: One of the proverbs says, "Can a man take fire to his bosom, And -----

1. "His clothes not be burned"? (Prov. 6: 27 )
Solomon was not concerned with fire safety. He was comparing
adultery to playing with fire (vv. 20-29)

2. "The beginning of wisdom" (Prov.9: 10 )
"Fear" is not terror. It includes awe, respect, and the knowledge that dealing
with God involves the prospect of judgment as well as reward.
