Gospels-Instruction

1.Multiple choice: Why, according to Jesus , do the hypocrites love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners? (a) That  they may be seen by men; (b) that God might overlook their hypocrisy; or (c) that prayers might continually rise to God.

2. Question: In the Lord's Prayer, what is God asked to give?

3. Sentence completion: What line follows this one in the Lords Prayer? "Our Father in heaven..."

1. (a) That they may be seen by men (Matt. 6:5)

2. Our daily bread (Matt. 6:11), representing the basic needs of the day.

3. " Hallowed  be Your name" (Matt. 6:9). The first expression of the Lord's disciple should be desire for the sanctity of the name of the Father.

Good Evening, Patsy.

We had the Lord's Prayer sung by a sweet young college lady at our wedding 21 years ago.

Hope you enjoy the evening. Sleep tight.
