Epistles--Instruction

1. Fill in the blank: Speaking of the unchangeable priesthood of Christ, the writer of Hebrews says,
"Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make  --------- for them."

2. Jesus Christ is the "Mediator of a better --------, which was established on better promises."

3. Hebrews 8 speaks of the New Covenant. The essence of the New Covenant is the Lord saying, "I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their ------; and I will be their --------, and they shall be My --------."

1. "Intercession"  (Heb. 7:25). The Holy Spirit also makes intercession for the believer (Rom. 8:26).

 

 

2. "Covenant" (Heb. 8:6).  The covenant that the writer speaks of is the New Covenant set forth in Jeremiah 31 and quoted in this chapter of Hebrews.

 

 

3. "Hearts ...God...people" (Heb. 8:10).
