1. "Peace...wicked" (Is.48:22). This was the Lord's summary statement about His judgment on Babylon ( vv. 20,21).

3. "Acceptable...heard...salvation" (Is. 49:8). Paul quoted this verse to the Corinthians and concluded. "Now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation" (2 Cor. 6:2).
