Epistles--General

1. Multiple choice: In 2 Timothy 3, Paul used Jannes and Jambres as examples of people who resist the truth. What person did Jannes and Jambres resist? (a) David; (b) Daniel; or (c)  Moses.

2. In 2 Timothy 4, Paul mentions several people who have departed from him. Who left Paul  because

1. (c) Moses (2 Tim. 3:8 ).
Paul is referring here to Moses' encounter with the Egyptian sorcerers in Pharaoh's court
(Ex. 7:11,12).

Demas was with Paul in his first Roman imprisonment at the time Paul wrote the letter to 
the church in Colosse.
(Col. 4:14).
