The Blessed Hope

While in heaven, Jesus Christ is preparing a place for His Bride,
the Church. The moment His  Church on earth is completed, He
will descend from heaven and summon all believers of this dispensation
dead and living, to meet Him in the air (1Thess. 4:16,17 ) . As they are
gathered together unto Him to be forever with Him, their bodies will be
transformed into the likeness of His glorified resurrection body (Cor. 15:
51-53; Phil. 3:21). His veracity guarantees His promise (John14:3); there
fore, the Rapture becomes the "blessed hope" of each believer (Tit. 2:13).

"I will give unto him that arthirst of the fountain of the water of life freely."
Revelation 21:6

Heavenly Father, fill me with thy joy so that there will be a constant
overflow
to attract others to Thyself.

Resurrection, Ascension, And Session

All three Members of the Trinity had a part in Christ's resurrection.
He was "raised up from the dead by the glory (power) of the Father" (Rom.6:4);
"quickened (made alive) by the Spirit" (1 Pet. 3:18); and raised by His own deity
(John 2:19). Jesus  Christ became, lower than angels in His humanity; but through
resurrection, ascension and session, His humanity became superior to angels (Heb.
1:4, 2:9). The Cross must come before the crown!

"But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of
Righteousness arise with healing in His wings."
Malachi 4:2

Lord, help me to overcome my fears by filling my mind
with positive thoughts and my life with positive actions.

Proof

Forty days after His resurrection, during which time the Lord
"showed himself alive...by many infallible proofs," He departed
visibly from this earth and entered into heaven (Acts 1:2,3,9).
There He presented Himself and was accepted as the perfect
Sacrifice for sinful humanity (Heb. 1:3).

"At the voice of thy cry; when He shall hear it, He will answer thee."
Isaiah 30:19

O God, help us to remember that we can depend on Your Word. What
You have
spoken will come to pass.

Father -- Son -- Holy Spirit

In His Incarnation, He experienced normal growth ( Luke 2:40, 52)
and knew fatigue ( John 4 :6), hunger (Matt. 4:2), thirst John 19:28),
testing (Heb. 4:15), suffering (Heb. 2:18) and death (Luke 23:46).
As the God - Man, Jesus spoke of God from His divine nature as
His Father and from His human nature as His God (John 20:17).
Yet His humanity in no way diminishes or detracts from His deity
and equality with the Father and the Spirit (John 5:23).

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Psalm 46:1

Lord, some days I feel weighted down by the routine. Help me to rejoice in Your Presence.

Just Confess

Like all children, however, we will sin and grieve God; we
must then be disciplined for our own good (Heb. 12:5--11).
Yet our heavenly Father is always ready to receive His
children back into fellowship as soon as they return to
Him by way of confession (1 John 1:9).

"Everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that
knocketh it shall be opened."
Matthew 7:8

Heavenly Father, thou hast prepared things for us that we can have if only
we believe. May we come to thee in our weakness and ask.

We Are Members

Membership in the Family of God is conditioned upon
a simple  act of faith in Jesus Christ on the part of any
individual: "For ye are all the children of God by faith
in Christ Jesus " (Gal. 3:26). As  members of His
family, we  may address God as "Father".
(Rom. 8:15)

"The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them."
Psalm 34:7

Dear God, give me courage to face the problems that confront me today;
thank You for Your sustaining strength.

Author And Planner

Technically, the father of a family is the head and planner.
God the Father is the Pattern for fatherhood and, as such,
is the supreme sovereign Head of all things (1 Cor. 8:6).
The title "Father" emphasizes the absolute authority of the
First Person as the Author of the Divine Plan for Homo
sapiens (John14:24; Eph. 1). He is in a class by Himself,
distinct from all others.

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and  in you all.
Eph. 4:6

"A faithful man shall abound with blessings"
Proverbs 28:20

Lord, help me to remember that there are many ways to rejoice
in any kind of day You make for us.
