History

1. Fill in the blank: When Jeremiah describes Jerusalem's approaching destruction in his second sermon, he refers to her as "the daughter of --------."

2. Multiple choice: What did Jeremiah wish he could do because his people were all adulterous and treacherous men? (a) Leave them; (b) reform them; or (c) betray them.

3. Why did God not want His people to " learn the way of the Gentiles"? (a) Because of their wealth; (b) because of their idolatry ; (c) because  they were uncircumcised.

1." Zion"  (Jer. 4:31)

2. (a) Leave them (Jer. 9:2). He  would leave them in grief rather then anger or disgust (v1).

3. (b) Because of their idolatry (Jer. 10:1-5 ).

Two out of three, thanks for sharing. Jeremiah was known as the "Weeping Prophet", I wonder what he would say about the spiritual state of this world today!
Happy 4th celebration.
