Being Ignorant

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to

establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves

unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law

for righteousness to every one that believeth.

 

Romans 10: 3,4

 

"If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed".
John 8:31

Lord, May our love for You increase. May our desire for Your
word grow into delight.

Joyful

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances,

for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the spirit's

fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test  everything. Hold on

to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.

 

1 Thessalonians 5:16, 17, 18, 19,20 21,22

 

"But in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness,
is accepted with Him."

Lord, grant us the determination to overcome all obstacles
in our discovery of your love.

Wisdom Better Then Folly

The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of

the fool to the left. Even as he walks along the road, the fool

lacks sense  and shows everyone how stupid he is.

Ecclesiastes 10: 2,3

 

"Call  upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee."
Psalm 50:15

Father, I want to live close enough to know that when
I call, you will answer.

Lacking And Tossed

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God , that giveth to all

men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave

of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

James 1: 5,6

 

"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou shalt stretch forth thine hand
against the wrath of mine enemies."
Psalm 138:7

Heavenly Father, how grateful I am that I am not left alone to
flounder in weakness. Strengthen me through the lifeline of prayer.

New Moon

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise Him in the heights.

Praise ye Him, all His angels: praise ye Him, all hosts. Praise ye Him, sun and moon:

Praise Him , all ye stars of light. Praise Him, ye  heavens of heavens, and ye waters

that be  above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the Lord: for He 

commanded, and they were created.

He hath also established them for ever and ever; He hath made a decree which shall not pass.

Seek His Glory

Jesus answered  them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but His that sent me.

If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of GOD,

or whether I speak of Myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory:

but  he that seeketh His glory that sent him, the same is true, and
no unrighteousness is in him.

 John 7:16,17,18

"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive
the crown of life, which he hath promised to them that love Him."
James 1:12

Dear God, this is a new day and I may face unexpected temptation.
Please help me to keep free from evil.

The Cure For Worry

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt,

 and where thieves break through and steal: But  lay up for yourselves treasures  in heaven,

where neither moth  nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Matthew 6:19,20,21

 

"The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms."
Deuteronomy 33:27

Dear Lord, help us to give up our fears, and anxieties and give ourselves fully to you.
