Doctrine of Love

1. Yet I hold this against you. You have forsaken your first love.

2. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent.

Doctrine of Love

12:These men are blemishes at your  love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm-shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted --twice dead. 13:  They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

20: But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 21: Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Doctrine of Love

4: It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us. 5: And now, dear lady , I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning, I ask that we love one another. 6: And this is love; that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

Doctrine of Love

1: Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

2: This is how we know that we love the children of God; by loving God and carring out his commands.

3:This is love for God ; to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4: for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

16: And  so we know and rely on the love God has for us.  God is love. Who ever lives in
love lives in God, and God in him.
 17: In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world  we are like him.
18: There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do  with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
 19: We love because he first loved  us.
 20: If any one says, "I love God." yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
 21: And he has given us this command; Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
