2- Isagogical Background
The failures of these Jews, from the standpoint of spiritual,economic,
military, and social life, will comprise the background for our study.
They ignored the principles of freedom by which a national entity
functions to the glory of God. Finally in 586 B.C. the Southern Kingdom
was conquered by the armies of Nebuchadnezzar and taken into captivity
by the Chaldeans.
"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away."
Matthew 24:35
Help me, Lord, to remember that by thy word the heavens and earth
were formed and by thy word we one day will awake in thy likeness.
