The Shield Of Faith

To protect the believer in every exigency of life, God issues

him a shield  far surpassing that of the Roman soldier ----

"the shield of faith"

Faith removes dependence on self and substitutes dependence

upon the one who is the source of joy and strength, the Lord

Jesus Christ.
