Epistles--Instruction

1. Question: A woman was to have her head covered when doing either of two things. Name one of them.

2. Multiple choice: God has so composed the body of Christ, giving greater honor to the part that lacks it, so that there should be no (a) Aches; (b) schism; or (c) sores in the body.

3. Question: Are tongues for a sign to believers or unbelievers?

 
 
1. Praying or prophesying (1 Cor. 11:5).
 
2. (b) Schism (1 Cor. 12: 24,25). God desires everyone in the church to feel of equal importance. Division results when there is a sense of inequality.
 
3. A sign to unbelievers (1 Cor. 14:22). The most obvious use of tongues as a sign to unbelievers occurred on the Day of Pentecost (Acts2).
