1. "For they shall be filled" (Matt. 5:5). Meekness is not weakness. It is strength at the service of gentleness. The earth needs the meek: the world is not worthy of them.
2. "For they shall be filled " (Matt. 5:6) Most appetites will lead one astray when they are intense, but this leads to satisfaction.
3. "For they shall obtain mercy" (Matt. 5:7). from both God and man.
